Miracle Channel live on 3 satellites tonight

On Tuesday, March the 9th, Miracle channel will broadcast for the first time the same program live on 3 seperate satellites covering North Africa, the Middle East, Europe and North America. See live streaming at 18:00 GMT time.

Miracle Channel reaches a new landmark tonight as the channel launches its first live program on Hotbird, NileSat and a North American satellite simultaneously. This makes it possible for Arab speaking people in all of North America down to Mexico and the Caribbean islands, together with Arabs living in North Africa, the Middle East, the Gulf and Europe, to watch and participate in the same program at the same time.

-This is a very exciting event for us, and we are really thrilled that we can invite our American audience to join us live tonight, says the head of programming.

The American viewers will get a local number up on the screen that they can call. This number will be transferred free of charge to the studio in Egypt.

The program is called the Alternative, and takes an in depth look at the widespread occult practices that are very popular among Arabs.

- We have heard from numerous viewers in the past who started an innocent game that trapped them in a life of misery and fear. We simply invite people to try an alternative, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ, says the head of programming.

Miracle Channel started with regular broadcasts in 1997.  In 2005 the channel started broadcasting 24 hours a day to 300 million Arabs. In October of 2009, the channel launched its first live broadcast on Hotbird. The purpose of the live broadcasts is to give the viewers a chance to comment and ask questions on air in response to the overwhelming feedback from viewers. In 2009 the channel received almost 120, 000 responses from Arabs who had watched the programs on the channel.
