Many are seeking advice about child rearing

The topics in the live broadcasts that started in September are generating a lot of feedback from viewers.

When Miracle Channel started live broadcasts in September, one of the goals was to encourage live interaction with the audience in the Arab world. The interaction can either happen live on air, or the viewers can contact a counselor at a time that may be more appropriate for them.

The first live program that is part of the well established show, “The Rest of the Story”, featured advice on child rearing. This was a topic that harvested many comments from viewers.

This is what some of them said:

Niveen:
“Thank you for the program. I cried because you described exactly what is happening in our home, and we needed to hear what you had to say.”

Soad:
Thank you for the episode today about raising children. We really have made some mistakes in bringing up our children. I always thought the children were our property that we could treat as we wanted to, but I see this is wrong. Thank you for changing my view on this, and particularly thank you to host Nawal and Dr. Ashraf.”

Saida:
“I know that what you say is true, but to confess to my children that I have wronged them is very hard. My problem is that I feel I have to be right all the time. Please pray for me.”

From a family:
“We always gather in front of the television, my wife, and I and out children, to watch “The rest of the Story.” It is one of the best and strongest programs we watch. Thank you for all that you do.”

Akhlas:
“I have four children and my desire it to raise them in a way that pleases God. I have a boy and a girl that are teenagers. I don’t know how to relate to them or how to give them good advice. Hope you can help me and send some books about this matter that can be of help, also for children age 1-10. Thank you.”
